As the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, I would like to take this opportunity to update you on the latest developments and initiatives taking place within our school district.
Over the past year, we have been working tirelessly to provide our students with the best possible learning environment, despite the many challenges posed by the pandemic. Our maintenance team works diligently to ensure that our buildings are well-maintained and safe. This includes regular cleaning and disinfecting of our facilities, as well as repairs and upgrades to ensure that our buildings are functioning properly.
In addition to our focus on maintenance, we are also committed to providing our students with the latest technology to support their learning. We have implemented several upgrades and improvements to our technology infrastructure over the past few years, including expanded access to Wi-Fi, new devices for students and teachers, and upgrades to our online learning platforms.
We have been working to ensure that our students receive high-quality education, whether they are attending classes in person or remotely. Our teachers and staff have gone above and beyond to provide innovative and engaging instruction to all students, while also addressing their social-emotional needs.
At the same time, we recognize that our district faces significant financial challenges due to the pandemic. We are closely monitoring our budget and working to identify ways to reduce costs while continuing to provide high-quality education to our students. We are also exploring opportunities to secure additional funding through grants and other sources.
